We will exchange any item that was sold by us as a stock item from our showcase within 10 days of the delivery when accompanied by the original sales receipt, as long as it has not been worn or altered from its original showcase condition (including ring sizing). NO cash, check or credit card refunds. Store credit will be issued to the original purchaser. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. All items are purchased on sale are FINAL.
Special Orders and Custom Orders are Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable. A Special Order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered at the clients request. All Special Orders and Custom Orders require a 25% down payment.
The maximum layaway period is 90 days from the original purchase date. A minimum of a 25% deposit is required to open a layaway. Layaways canceled within the first 30 days may receive a refund (of Store Credit) If the cancellation occurs after 30 days or if the final payment is not made at the end of the 90 days, the item(s) will be returned to stock and a 20% restocking fee will be applied. The deposit and payments received will be applied to store credit, which can be used toward the purchase of other merchandise or services.
All the merchandise sold from our showcases and jewelry repair done by Mitchum Jewelers is guaranteed for 1 year from the sale/repair date. This guarantee includes such things as: stones not falling out or becoming loose, and the location we made or repaired will not break in the area’s which we worked. Mitchum Jewelers has the final decision in determining if the warranty issue is due to unreasonable wear or abuse.
The Diamonds from Mitchum Jewelers have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with the United Nations resolutions. Mitchum Jewelers hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on the personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.
Returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 fee
Mitchum Jewelers recommends to have your jewelry cleaned and inspected every 3 months. We will be happy to do this for you at no charge.
Not responsible for items left over 30 days. The description and values of the articles listed/left are correct to the best of the customers knowledge. The customer understands that Mitchum Jewelers is not responsible for the identification of the stones or the jewelry listed on the receipt. The customers also understands that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally accepted jewelry industry practices. Any gemstone in the submitted articles may have been altered by fracture filling or any other treatment, unless the customer specifically list that in the instructions. Any gemstone(s) in the submitted article(s) may have been subjected to a possibly undetectable enhancement process. The customers understands that the store is not responsible for damage that is beyond the stores control and attributable to unstable enhancement process. The customer affirms that any enhancement that they are aware of, have been noted. The customer also understands that Mitchum Jewelers is not responsible for loss, damage, and/or theft of my jewelry unless proven it was due to negligence. The customer understands that damage and or loss strictly due to negligence is limited to the actual cost of the repair or replacement, not to exceed the value listed, and when no value is listed, it is agreed that the value is no greater than $75.00.
